Good Friday

They say that the last thing you say to someone is important because it echoes in memory for all time. Many words had come from the mouth of the man hanging between heaven and earth during Jesus’ time – words that had changed the very destiny of His hearers – words that would be captured and placed in a volume that would be the most sought after writing of all time. Surprisingly, His last words don’t bring fire down from heaven nor do they free Him from His trial. Three simple words bring a finality to it all: “It is finished!”
