Prophet

We have been studying the five-fold ministry detailed in Ephesians 4:11-16. Last Sunday, we studied the Apostle. This week, we study the prophet. A prophet (/prophḗtēs) declares the mind (message) of God, which sometimes predicts the future (foretelling). Prophecy has an ancient history. Much of the old testament was given through

prophets, and prophets continued to minister in the new testament.
