The Clash Continues

This study is called, “Shaken.” It tells the story of the birth of the early church. Let’s pick up in chapter 8. Tonight’s study is called, “The Clash Continues.” As the center of both Christianity and Judaism, Jerusalem is the center of the clash of faith. The first blood of the church is spilt. The young Pharisee, Saul has taken it upon himself to rid Israel of the scourge of Christianity. The church is going through another shaking – this time through the hands of Saul who is making havoc for the church. Saul soiled anyone’s reputation who was a part of Christianity and sought to destroy the faith. At the threat of arrest, believers began to scatter.
