Passage: 1 Samuel 24:1-22
Service Type:

Bible Text: 1 Samuel 24:1-22 | Speaker: Larry Metz | Series: Guest Speakers, Standalone Sermons | This Wednesday, Pastoral Intern Larry Metz shares a message on what to do when you feel surrounded. To illustrate, we can read about the interaction between Saul & David in 1 Samuel 24, where David cuts a piece from Saul’s robe instead of killing him, even though Saul had David surrounded by 3,000 men! There are a few key points we can draw from this.

  God has a plan
  God has a purpose
God has protection for His anointed
  God has provision

When we walk anointed by God in the calling He placed on our lives, we can understand that He has a plan & purpose for everything, and will protect & provide for us even if we are surrounded by thousands of enemies or alone with a hidden attacker! Through simple obedience to and faith in Christ, we never have to be worried when we are surrounded.
