As we read the NT, one realization is strongly apparent: After Jesus appeared, nothing was ever the same again. Before Jesus appeared, God was with His people. There were instances of the appearance of glory. But in Jesus’ appearance, God became more real than ever and we were able to see what He would say and do in specific situations and how He would live in our world. But, there was more. The Spirit of truth is with you forever – living in you. Most of the glory before Jesus was experienced outside of people – clouds, fire, manna – but now, most of the glory would be experienced inside people – sanctification, righteous living, God like love, the peace of Jesus, kingdom generated desires, etc.
