For the next few Wednesdays, we will study the foundations for a godly marriage. We could have said foundations for a “good” marriage, and it will be “good” if you implement these foundations. But, “godliness” takes “good” to a supernatural level. That’s our goal: to have God in the midst of our marriages. We will start this study at a basic level with a look at the purpose of marriage. The basic purpose of marriage mirrors the basic purpose of humanity: to glorify God.
