All or Nothing
Bible Text: Genesis 22:1-18 | Speaker: Raj Kumar | Series: Guest Speakers, Standalone Sermons | This Wednesday, we are joined by missionary and pastor Raj Kumar whom we support as a part of Impact India Ministries. Impact India is dedicated to taking in orphaned and abandoned children to raise them in a safe, Christ focused environment, while also supporting local pastors in India who have needs or are avoiding persecution.
For his lesson, Pastor Raj takes a look at the accounts of Genesis 22, where God instructs Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. Focused on the title “All or Nothing,” we take a hard look at genuine faith in God by giving Him our all, or if we don’t, then ultimately nothing. God calls us to completely trust & obey Him, which Abraham perfectly exemplifies with his heart of trust and obedience when He goes to sacrifice his son. God gave Abraham the gift of a son during a time when there was little capability to do so, but then God asked for the gift back; what He gives is not ours to keep, and we must be willing to obey God and step out of any comfort we’ve built. Fix your eyes on Jesus, and know & believe that He will never fail you!
