Meets on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Youth Room downstairs at Entrance D.
Capstone Young Adults // Ages 18-30ish
Capstone Young Adults is a ministry with a passion and desire to know Jesus more fully. Our hope and aspirations are to grow so closely knit that we would call each other family. Each week, childcare will be provided to allow everyone, whether married, single, with kids or without, to get involved and worship Jesus with abandon.
Typically meets on Fridays at 7pm in the Loft upstairs at Entrance D. Currently on ministry sabbatical and will begin meeting again soon.

Corporate praise and worship is more than a preliminary to preaching; it’s not a part of a program or a ritual, and it’s not a performance or a showcase of vocal or musical talent. Praise is declaring what God has done, is doing, and will do (Ephesians 6:12). We are called to demonstrate what Jesus carried out at Calvary (1 John 3:8), a demonstration that is manifested by the words we speak and by our obedience to God’s Word (Proverbs 18:21, 1 Samuel 15:22). Praise builds faith, faith creates miracles, and miracles glorify God!
Worship is our response to a holy, omnipotent God, and our corporate worship should be a natural extension of the personal relationship that we have with God when we are alone. Those that are a part of this ministry have the responsibility to lead the congregation in this special act. If you have a musical talent and feel the call to join this ministry, email our Worship Director, Heidi Williams, using the link below!
“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
This is not a law, it is a principle, made in the form of a “conditional promise”. God said these words, and He cannot lie. He meant what he said, and said what He meant. When we do our part, HE WILL DO HIS. Prayer is such an important part of our lives as Christians! Here at Capstone, we aim to obey God’s word and make it a priority to have meeting times available to gather and pray as groups over different things like personal requests, as well as our city, state, nation, and even those around the world! Meeting times include:
Senior Pastor Parkey Cobern leads prayer for whoever wants to join on Sunday mornings before service in the sanctuary from 9:30am – 9:45am.
Early Morning Prayer:
Join us every weekday morning from 6:15am–7:15am in the Willhite Prayer Room.
